Genevieve Green Gardens at Ewing Manor, Illinois State University Foundations

The Genevieve Green Gardens, a scenic six-acre landscape, provide Ewing Manor—a historic Bloomington-Normal landmark—with a serene and picturesque park-like setting.

The gardens’ walkways, plantings, lighting, and other amenities offer a relaxing setting for contemplation and the appreciation of nature’s beauty.  The gardens are complemented by a distinguished manor house of limestone, cypress timbers, and brick and by the elegance of the adjacent outdoor Theatre at Ewing, home of the acclaimed Illinois Shakespeare Festival, an annual summer event.
